Forrest Gump: 16 years on

Strange how I remember random things like the moment when I watch Forrest Gump 16 years ago.

16 years on.  The film hasn’t changed.  I had.  I grew up and grow old.

I can’t remember the detail of the film through the eye of a 13 years old. All I remember is, that it was the first movie I shed a drop of tear on.

Now seeing it through the eye of 29 years old.  I understand more.  I feel his pain and his life more, perhaps I see part of my life through his?

Endless contemplation about life and how I am living it followed. A Waste of time??

Better live and go forward.  And run… Forrest, run…

Forest is a handicapped boy with a loving mother. She teaches him the philosophy of life.

During his childhood, he met Jenny.  She becomes his best friend.

He went to college and join the Army and was send to the war in Vietnam.

There, he met Bubba and Lt. Dan who become his friends.

He wins medals, met with presidents and become very good ping pong player.

His sincere way toward life has positive impact on many people, including Jenny.

The story is inspiring.  It handles the important of love, friendship and and making the best out of our lives.

Forrest Gump ist ein behinderter Junge mit einer liebevollen Mutter.

Sie lehrt ihn die Philosophie des Lebens.

Während seiner Kindheit, traft er Jenny.  Sie wird zu seiner besten Freundin.

Er geht auf die Universität und tritt der Armee bei und wird in den Krieg nach Vietnam geschickt

Dort trift er Bubba und Lt. Dan, die seine Freunde werden.

Er gewinnt Medaillen, trifft den Präsidenten und er wird ein sehr guter Ping Pong Spieler.

Seine ehrliche Art zum Leben hat positive Auswirkungen auf viele Menschen auch auf Jenny.

Die Geschichte ist inspirierend.  Sie handelt von der Wichtigkeit von Liebe, Freundschaft und sie lehrt uns, das Beste aus seinem Leben zu marchen.
